Dr. Deans is a quantum physicist, lifelong educator, and director of the award-winning Maharishi School (K–12) in Fairfield, Iowa, where students and teachers practice the Transcendental Meditation technique as part of its “Consciousness-Based” curriculum. The school graduates ten times the national average of National Merit Scholar Finalists, has seen 95% of graduates accepted at four-year colleges, and has had grades 10–12 consistently score in the top 1% of the nation on standardized tests of educational development. Dr Tim Carr, MBBS Dr Tim Carr is a Sydney Medical Practitioner with expertise in Consciousness-Based Health Care. Dr Carr is a graduate of Sydney University. He completed his postgraduate studies at Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, India and the MIU Institute of Ayurvedic studies, Iowa, USA. He has run several training courses for doctors and lectured Australia-wide on the subject of Consciousness-Based Health Care. He is currently President of the Maharishi Vedic Health Practitioners Association of Australia. |

Dr David Hill, Ph D. David completed a Ph.D. in the Neuroscience of Human Consciousness at Maharishi International University under Professor Robert Keith Wallace, who was the first scientist to conduct research on the Transcendental Meditation in the 1970’s. After completing a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, David worked as an Associate Professor at MIU. He provided technical assistance on medical research proposals to National Institutes of Health Institutes and other funding bodies. |

David Seaton Dip App. Sc.Agric., Grad Dip Ed. Formerly a secondary school science teacher (A.C.T. and N.T.) Chairman of the A.C.T. Vedic Centre and Teacher of the Trancendental Meditation Programme. He is a local business owner and parent of children who would like to be in a school offering 'Consciousness-Based Education'. David will speak on his experience in schools and the benefits they can expect from the implementation of this programme. He will be the co-ordinator of future implementation in local schools. |
